Our Story
Isaac and Julie meet in the Adult I Sunday School class of First Baptist Church of Waco in September 2024.
When Isaac noticed Julie attended Sunday School regularly and always came early, Isaac resolved to get to know Julie more. She thought he was a menace because of how he rode his bicycle.
In December, Isaac finally learns Julie's last name and ethnicity. Her Instagram profile was private, but her LinkedIn really caught his eye.
In the new year, Isaac resolves to get to know Julie better. He draws up a game plan to cross paths...
Julie thinks Isaac is cute in his pink shirt. Isaac has no idea; worries that he actually has to ask Julie on a date to get to know her.
Isaac gives up and asks her out after church. Julie says yes.
One date leads to another, and Julie and Isaac settle into a joyful routine:
Working side by side in the lab and around campus — capturing their first photo together.
Walking together through a quiet January snowstorm in Waco — one chapter of over 175 miles walked together since they began dating.
Sharing laughter, adventures, and life together with beloved friends.
And as they got to know each other, they loved each other more and more. So when Isaac proposed to Julie in July 2026, she said yes.

Outcome: Julie had ChatGPT. Isaac's technical support was completely unneeded.
